The artist Jonathan VanDyke will give a short reprise of his performance The Long Glance. In his original performance, VanDyke will stand and contemplate Jackson Pollock's Convergence, 1952, for forty hours over five days.

7 pm Artist Talk: Jonathan VanDyke (FREE)
The artist Jonathan VanDyke will stand and contemplate Jackson Pollock's Convergence, 1952, for forty hours over five days for a performance work called The Long Glance. In this talk, VanDyke will share discoveries from his performance and discuss connections to his other work.

The Western New York Bellydance Association presents its fifth annual world dance showcase, featuring performances by numerous regional dance troupes, including Hypnotic and Sahara Shimmer, and special guest artists from New York City.

  • ABOUT THE PROGRAM

    On the First Friday of every month—from 10 am to 10 pm—admission to the Gallery's Collection, and to most events and performances, is free for everyone. Art classes are available to non-members for a small fee and special exhibitions in the 1905 Albright building are available to non-members with Gallery admission. Everything is free for Gallery Members, except for lectures that include lunch.

    PROGRAM & EVENTS

    On the first Friday of every month —from 10 am to 10 pm— M&T Bank will cover your admission to the Gallery and present an array of FREE activities and experiences for you to share with your friends and family. You can also delve deeper in special programs and events offered for a small fee.
